⸺ The Process

Six controlled stages, one consistent batch.

STAGE 01

High-Purity Water Usage

The process begins with the dissolution of peptides in WFI (Water for Injection) grade water — the highest purity standard available — providing a clean, contamination-free foundation for every batch.

STAGE 02

Excipients for Stability

Mannitol and sucrose are added as excipients. Mannitol serves as a bulking agent while sucrose acts as a lyoprotectant, preventing degradation and aggregation throughout the freeze-drying and storage process.

STAGE 03

Electrospray Ionization (ESI)

The peptide solution is sprayed into a fine mist. Sodium ions are introduced and readily attach to the peptide molecules, facilitating a controlled ionization that enhances both stability and characterization.

STAGE 04

Sterile Filtration

The solution is passed through a 0.22 µm PES (polyethersulfone) filter membrane, removing any potential contaminants and ensuring a high level of microbiological purity.

STAGE 05

Precise Vialing

Once filtered, the solution is precisely dispensed into 3 mL vials, partially stoppered, and loaded into the freeze-dryer for a carefully controlled lyophilization cycle.

STAGE 06

36-Hour Lyophilization

Freezing at -40°C stabilizes the peptide structure. Primary drying removes water by sublimation. Secondary drying desorbs remaining bound water — leaving a stable, lyophilized peptide.

⸺ Lyophilization cycle

A carefully controlled 36-hour freeze-drying programme.

Freezing Phase

The solution is cooled to -40°C, stabilizing the peptide structure before drying begins.

Primary Drying

Water is removed through sublimation, eliminating the majority of moisture under vacuum.

Secondary Drying

Any remaining bound water is removed by desorption, yielding a stable lyophilized peptide.

Committed to quality and reliability.

From preparation through to freeze-drying, every step is conducted in our manufacturing facility under strict quality control — ensuring purity and consistency in every vial we ship.
